Staffline’s unwavering commitment ensures a top class workforce
Staffline are a leading recruitment provider delivering cost-effective solutions to all sectors. Combining industry-leading people, first-class processes and technology, they deliver unrivalled service excellence.
Key to their success is providing a creative and welcoming environment, which led to the award for Best Place to Work (Medium) at the 2023 WEA awards.
Following the establishment of her international career, CEO Tina McKenzie returned home to her native Belfast in 2012 and set up the Ireland division of Staffiine in 2013. Despite only starting with two staff members operating from one office, Tina made a bold and ambitious target to expand her operation and hitatarget of £100 million turnover within five years.
In July 2018, Staffiine secured the largest acquisition of a recruitment business in Ireland, with Grafton joining Staffiine’s Group portfolio, which already included PeoplePlus and Diamond Recruitment.
Through organic and acquired growth, Tina achieved her original turnover exceeding her target of £100m by 145 per cent.
The company is now an established brand name with 12 offices, 18 onsite locations, a permanent employee workforce of 160 staff, and a contracted workforce of up to 8,000 people.
All are placed to serve jobseekers and businesses on a local basis, stretching from Derry, Coleraine, and Lisburn to Dublin, Galway, and Cork with their headquarters in Belfast.
Staffiine place their employees at the heart of the company, recognising that without a committed and effective workforce, any company in this sector would be able to achieve very little.
For Staffiine, their employees are the best asset the company has and are central to the company’s success.
In their submission, Staffiine said: “Asacompany which is centred on providing a top-class workforce for its clients, Staffiine Ireland has always recognised the need to ensure that the company itself not only attracts the best people to work for it but that it creates the best place and atmosphere for them to work in.
“The management team here recognises more than most that the world of work is constantly changing and that a fiexible and adaptable approach is what employers are searching for. And it lives up to its mission by delivering in spades.”
“We endeavour to be an employer of choice, one in which employees feel valued, engaged, trusted and appreciated.
“Ensuring effective talent and staff retention, the company recognises that employee engagement is crucial.”
The company prioritises three focus areas of workplace wellbeing – physical and mental wellbeing, social health and wellbeing of all staff and celebrating their people, giving them every chance of long-term success.
