FinTrU continue their remarkable rise with another deserved awards win

Specialising in the areas of KYC, compliance, legal, risk and controls and operations, FinTrU work with clients to design technology enabled solutions to help them meet their regulatory obligations and support their existing internal functions.
Their clients are all global Investment Banks, based in North America, Europe and Asia. FinTrU, who employ over 1,200 people across Belfast, Derry, London, Dublin, Letterkenny, Maastricht, Porto and New York, are well renowned for unprecedented fast growth and as a leading employer in Northern Ireland. In recent years, FinTrU has been named in the Virgin Atlantic Sunday Times Fast Track 100 League Table.
In early 2022, FinTrU was named as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe by the Financial Times for the second year in succession and won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
“They’ve been on the winners’ rostrum before, but this company just keeps getting better. Judges were struck by a number of its new initiatives for 2023, which included ‘Febulous’ –amonth of health and wellbeing activities across the company which created a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.”
As of 2023, FinTrU’s client portfolio stands at 18 Global Tier 1 Investment Banks.
FinTrU was founded on a fundamental social purpose to create high-quality professional employment.
Now in their tenth year of operation, that philosophy has only become more prevalent and, along with their values of partnership, passion, people and professionalism, creates a company culture that people both want to join and stay with.
‘Get involved’ is a company mantra and employees do so through many outlets, such as summer and Christmas parties, charity fundraising quizzes, competitions (hotel stays, FinTrU hoodies, vouchers and more) annual wellbeing initiatives and much more.
In their submission, FinTru said: “Collaboration goes hand-in-hand with the values at FinTrU. “What serves the business environment serves the social environment and vice versa. “Company initiatives, such as Febulous – a month of health and wellbeing activities across the company – creates a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
“The same applies to coming together for fundraisers for the company’s charity partner. “FinTrU has also invested in physical workspaces to aid collaboration across the company.
“Our technology hub is a large, state-of-the art building which is not only equipped with the necessary hardware and software but has break out areas and rooms to aid the creative process. Break out areas are common throughout all FinTrU’s offices.”
Unsurprisingly, FinTru won the top prize for Best Place to Work (Large) at the recent WEA awards.
